After over two years of non-gatherings, IWA members and their families were keen to get out there and have an evening out with live music, entertainment and dancing.
At the same time, we boosted our donations towards the bus fund for the Batu Grace Children's Home in Kedah. For some time, the Children's Home had been struggling to coax their elderly minibus to participate in outings, medical visits and school runs for the kids and an new one was desperately needed. We're delighted to report that the Batu Grace home is now awaiting delivery of their new vehicle.
We were entertained with performances of belly-dancing and Nyonya dancing, put on by fellow members, and danced the night away to the music of Ronald Vic de Leon with guest jazz violinist Tee Tee Jay.
